Rondebosch Knock Out Sprint Regatta

Get ready to row your heart out!

Rondebosch Boys’ Rowing Club is thrilled to announce the upcoming Knock Out Sprint Regatta on 21 September 2024.

This high-octane event will test your speed and Strength over a thrilling 300m course. Unlike traditional regattas, you’ll have 1.5 hours to qualify for the semi-finals. It’s a race against the clock, just like Formula 1 qualifying! The top four crews in each category will advance to the knockout semi-finals, where it’s all about head-to-head battles for a spot in the final.

We welcome rowers of all ages and abilities – schools, clubs, universities, and seniors are encouraged to participate. We have categories for U15, U16, Open, Seniors, and Masters, with junior girls competing in doubles/pairs and boys in fours or quads. Senior boat types will be determined based on entries.
